The press is the easiest way into Roi, and quietly one of the best. Finely milled rooibos from the Cederberg, steeped and pressed into a deep, ruby-red cup with a rounded, naturally sweet finish. No timers to fear, no skill to master — just hot water, a few minutes, and a clean press down.
The world is busy. You don't have to be.
It's a brew that rewards taking your time, which is rather the point.
In the box:
- Bialetti 350ml French press
- 250g bag of Roi (around 20 cups)
- Brew card with the method, step by step
Have it as it comes, or build it out with milk and your sweetener of choice. Caffeine-free, so the second cup is never a question.
How to Use
Espresso Machine
Loosely fill ¾ of the basket with Roi. Heat water and allow the liquid to filter through into the cup. Do not tamp.
Moka Pot
Fill the bottom chamber with water up to the valve. Loosely fill ¾ of the basket with Roi. Assemble, heat on medium, and remove once it bubbles.
French Press
Add 2–3 teaspoons (15ml) of Roi to the beaker. Add 200ml of boiling water, stir gently, and allow 5–10 minutes to infuse. Press the plunger slowly. Serve to taste.
